Is home based telemarketing a viable home business opportunity - it looks positive!
I am a few weeks into my home based telemarketing trial and have found it to be surprisingly good. This may be a viable option for those looking for an hourly rate, work from home income with flexible hours.
It certainly provides a low cost option, with no travel expenses, meals, clothing or other expenses normally associated with commuting and working in an office/call centre environment. In addition to computer, broadband connection and telephone, the only costs are calls to the softphone application that does all the dialing for you. Oh and I’d highly recommend a headset.
A point to note on call costs - Check whether you are making a local or STD call and also check any time limitations on those calls with your phone provider to ensure your costs are not going to be excessive.
On the downside, I have not found many organizations offering this kind of solution but am working on it.
